Solid surface is a strong, durable, non-porous, and hygienic material. In India, it is popular by the name Korean.
Solid surface doesn't require special cleaning products and it doesn't need sealed. Soap and water will wipe away most. Cleaning the surface with a transparent sanitizer also helps remove most stains from the surface.
Solid surface countertops are synthetic and don't offer the same quality and durability of a natural stone. However, these materials are non-porous and don't stain easily.
Certain chemicals and acidic foods can stain these countertops if left on the surface for long periods of time.
Solid surface is inherently a nonporous material with smooth, impenetrable seams. It's highly resistant to bacteria and mold growth making it the widely preferred option for hospital countertops, Operation theatres, Kitchen platforms, etc.

Exterior grade Solid surface is easily repairable and can theoretically last a lifetime. Interior grade Solid surfaces in most cases are repairable too and can be renewed for all light colours. Dark colours at times get white spots on the surface which are difficult to remove. Non Bendable solid surfaces are meant for short term use only and cannot be repaired in most cases.
Installation time
Lamination work of 300 to 400 ft can easily take 6-8 months; of course we are talking
about good
quality lamination.

Application process
A room where lamination work is going on, a person cannot stay there for long time. It

Durability
If a veneer cracks or something goes wrong with lamination, there is no easy solution to

to break & remove material & re-do it.
With Solid Surface, advantage is it is easy to make it look new by asking a fabricator to polish the entire surface using various grades of sand papers which gives it a brand new look.
Only in case of Non Bendable sheets, repairing gets difficult as they turn yellow after a period of 18- 24 months.
